itzdrk
It was a strong villa team, Cissoko, Elphick, Agbonglahor, Tschibola . 3 out of the 4 are first team regulars, Agbonlahor has been a regular in the past. Outwith the first team guys im pretty sure the Villa under 23 squad has some reasonable quality there. Whether it was a strong team or not in your opinion is a different story. For any Alloa fan to suggest the English Championship is poor, must take a much closer look at home, because if the English Championship is poor, then League one in Scotland is of what quality? There are more people at Conference games than attending our League 1 games. Alloa would beat Liverpool

There's more attending games down south because there is a bugger population in London alone than all of Scotland so let's just brush that shite comment to the side.Alloa fans know that our team isn't world class, does that mean that we can't think other teams or other leagues are Poor? Of course it doesn't.Back in yer box ya tit.
KierenAAFC
So we've seen a performances which would have been good to have Goody on the touchline calling the shots & now last night, where we missed his drive in the midfield. What's the way to go forward - Touchline or Starting 11?
Wasps1
Starting 11 for me !!!
BigMartyn86
I think he needs to look at getting in another centre midfielder. Preferably a defensive midfielder. You heard him screaming at Marr and Graham late on in the second half to keep a leash on Robertson from pushing too high up. When Goodwin has been starting he has been starting in centre mid but as soon as it looks like the other team are there for the taking he drops into centre half and the full backs push up and attack more. As much as I rate both Holmes and Robertson I don't think they can do the same job as what Goodwin does in that certain role/formations.

Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
Goodwin still new to management and hes been thrown in a bit so I think he will take in a run of games from the bench to settle himself in better. I think once hes a bit more comfortable he will get the urge to play again, maybe a bit more sparingly. Hes prioritising his job as manager and desperate to be a success. That's the main thing and what we should be looking for. There is no right or wrong answer to this.
