What’s the chance of him staying on at Tannadice ?
United are negotating a fee with his club however i think we will be priced out of a move. I reckon it would also be dependent on whether we get promoted or not

Raman Bhardwaj reporting shinnie has agreed a 3 year deal at Derby County.

Do any of the Don's fans think the English leagues are ready for a Scottish referee?......

You'd think so, unless he just fancied a change.

Lol..... didnt word my 1st reply very well, what I meant was two separate deals depending on which league they will be in.

If he has a decent agent you'd think they'll have agreed something like that.

IF it's EPL then we'll have him back on loan by January.

Thanks Graeme.

Not in the slightest mate, I happen to quite like Shinnie, both him and Broadfoot at us, are the type of players you love at your club knowing, whoever's the opposition, they f**kin hate him......

I hope, for Shinnie's sake, Derby don't go up. He is more than capable of being a good Championship midfielder, but he's not currently Premier League quality. I don't think McLean is either, but probably slightly more chance of holding his own there out of the two.

Different styles - but I think McLean has the quality to make the step up.

Shinnie will be a very good Championship player, but either Derby don't think they've a cat in hell's chance in the play-offs or are prepared to use him in the top flight.

If they can leave Lowe with us for another season we'll forgive them.

I don't think Shinnie is good enough on the ball to make a real impact down there and he is also not physically imposing, like a lot of Championship players. Hope he does well but I think he will be back up to Rangers soon enough - and a lot richer.
