Frank Grimes
Strange lack of detail How long is the deal? When does he start? Zero mention of back room team
Dons_1988
Cormack talking about the 'Aberdeen way' in the statement has triggered me again, not going to lie.
coprolite
Glass half full here: not one of the usual suspects from the SPL/ english championship- league 1 merry-go-round. Experience is over-rated. I guess this gives credibility to the reports of the neanderthal as assistant then. If he can teach our midfield the art of impunity then it will be ok.

Junior Pub League
I'd rather Glass than some perpetual loser jobber like Tommy Wright and that ilk.

Lofarl
Risky appointment this. Could be a great choice. Hopefully it’s a Cathro like appointment that gives the rest of us a right good chuckle. The Dons are due a banter era.

DrewDon
They are just words and all that, but an ambitious and encouraging final two paragraphs. I desperately want this to work out. Fingers crossed it does. https://www.afc.co.uk/2021/03/23/the-manager-i-will-work-tirelessly-to-make-it-a-success/
tree house tam
I can see the headlines now when St Johnstone pump you on the way to yet another trophy "Glass bottle smashes" "Shattered" "Aberdeen under the GLASS coffee table as St Johnstone shite on them" etc etc Setting yourself up boys and that's before adding BROWN.
tarapoa
Other than the shuddering mention of Jon Gallagher, a very good first interview - seems grounded and said all the right things re: style, mentality and ambition. Will get right behind him til we're 2-0 down at McDiarmid after 20mins......
Rodhull
For an appointment that has plenty of questions to be asked about and a variety of directions you can go in if you want to be negative it's impressive that a journalist managed to choose the one that only really highlights their own lack of research/effort. Glass managed the second side for less than a handful of games before taking over the first team for the rest of the season.

Rodhull
Same boy said Declan Gallagher and Bruce Anderson were offered deals yesterday. Never all that convinced how itk he is but there you go anyway. I don't think Taylor has been all that bad this season really but surely can't be hard to replace? (I hope) Interesting if we've offered Bruce a contract. I've been wondering if a large part of McInnes getting the dunt is his inability to get the best out of the youths like Bruce, and also Hernandez. I would not be at all surprised if we see Ronnie back here next season.
