10menwent2mow
For me, Cosgroves best form has come when may has been deployed alongside or a little behind him. While Stewart may be a more creative option, I think may is a harder worker, it's a good headache to have and I guess we can't have too many options.

It's obviously too early to judge his partnership with Stewart but it does seem that way regarding May's workrate.
10menwent2mow
Feel like May just needs a goal and he might go on a Cosgrove type run, it's good that fans are now appreciating the role that he has played in the resurgence of Cosgrove though rather than just calling him pish.
Jmothecat2
I'd take Hayes back. It's not us developing a Celtic player for them, like it was with Christie and although a couple of years older and a fair amount of time injured/on the bench we know he can cut it at this level so two reasons to prefer him to Morgan.
Menzel
Everybody knows the only rumours worth their salt are the ones where prospective targets are spotted at Thain's #stovies

G-MAN
Stoke have bid for Scott McKenna. Heard from 2 sources. Bid in the region of 4M-5M.
Rodhull
Didn't they just sign a central half?
AFCDannyFTH
Not keen on signing Hayes. He is on a fair wage, isn't long back from a broken leg and is the wrong side of 30. For him to come in and displace either McLennan or Wright would be detrimental to us in the long run, even with McInnes' relatively abysmal record of giving youth decent game time. McKenna is above Stoke's level. An absolute basketcase of a club.
logie skid boys
Can see maybe another club coming in . 5 million will be making milne and co very dizzy
Rodhull
Record now reporting that the bid for Mckenna was less than 5 million and was made two weeks ago and rejected and Aberdeen haven't heard from them since. Stoke signed another defender from Wolves since. So basically f**k knows what's happening. Saw Hayes was on the bench tonight as well, possibly makes the chances of him moving a bit less likely?
ScottishZizou
I would be astonished if anyone was bidding £5m for McKenna or that Aberdeen would reject an offer of £5m

HunterAFC
Does it seem odd to anyone else that this came out yesterday when it supposedly happened a couple of weeks ago? If it came from Aberdeen you'd think they were trying to get a bidding war going, but it apparently came from Stoke.

Dons_1988
It's very obvious that the club see Mckenna as part of the stadium funding and are marketing him as such. I think our issues with defensive cover so far this season will mean we'll hold off until the summer on Mckenna, hence working on the likes of Shaughnessy now. Scotty is going nowhere and will enjoy a league and cup double in May.
