Happy Buddie
One trophy has eluded Celtic during Lennon's reign. The Holy Grail of football. Thankfully there are two managers out of work who have clinched it in recent years and would be realistic appointments. Right, if you're gonnae be a daftie about this, and put KS up, how about I go dafter and put Barry "two fingers" Ferguson in the mix?

Albino Rover
Right, if you're gonnae be a daftie about this, and put KS up, how about I go dafter and put Barry "two fingers" Ferguson in the mix? The last two Ulstermen to take the Celtic job have been popular choices, although only one of them was any good.
Savage Henry
Mjallby or Moyes surely? This is good news for Celtic. And, as a matter of fact, and despite what Lennon's apologists will say, he was never on a "shoestring budget", he never "worked wonders with a limited budget" and he most certainly did not do a great job. For him to complain about restrictions on his budget is laughable. It's hard to imagine the next boss signing quite so many players who make three or four appearances and then disappear off the face of the planet. Albino Rover
Davie Moyes might take this job just so he can finally get the "hasny won a trophy" monkey off his back.

Co.Down Hibee
Paul Lambert, Malky Mckay or Owen Coyle, any one of those 3 IMO, would have said Moyes but his wage demands may be OTT for Lawells taste

dorlomin
There is no way that Moyes should be considering this job. Its a dead end for anyone who is already established as a top half premiership level manager. The OF is no longer the shop window to the top of the EPL it was 10/15 years ago. Ross.
This from Celtic Quick News is funny :- He was a hugely successful Celtic manager in Scotland and in Europe. The Barcelona team of the last six years, possibly the greatest team in history, were at their peak when they visited Celtic Park in November 2012. Neil came up with the game plan which brought Celtic victory and raised our profile across Europe. Classic revisionism. The bit in bold is accurate. The rest is fairly exaggerated. Moderately successful and beat a very good Barca side who were clearly on their way down by that point.
