No shock to hear all the pundits rallying around Billy Dodds and saying he should be in at Dundee. I don't understand how they don't get it. Alan Preston just went on quite an angry rant. Jim Duffy just gave a big soliloquy about it. Billy Dodds reckons it's just 'some' Dundee fans who are against him.

So stupid and so out of touch.

When you don't hear him for a while you forget just how much of a brain donor Pat Bonner actually is. The thickest person in world football? Despite much competition for that title he's nailed on for it if you ask me.

Do Celtic have a game on Thursday? Liam McLeod hasn't mentioned it.

He'd've been fucking raging that he wasn't there commentating today.

He'll need to hit the online porn tonight to get rid of his buildup of sexual tension.

That wee shite Preston having a dig at the quality of football that Livi play, then backtracking furiously when Duffy put him in his place.

Preston's another one of these thick ex-pros who thinks football should be played 'the right way'.  By which I take it he means like Barcelona under Pep Guardiola.  I'd say they're doing just fine 'biscuits'.

On the way home from the Saints game yesterday I heard them ask Dodds if he thought McIntyre could turn things round at Dundee. Was great to hear such an impartial opinion on the subject.

Looking forward to Billy Dodds revealing the 'whole story' about why he voted against the CVA

He'll tell everyone the 100% truth as soon as Jabba's finished making it up for him.

He genuinely believes that the Dundee fans are being hard on them and that once the 'truth' is out they'll all understand and forgive him.

Mental, but then he is breathtakingly thick.

That certainly seems to be the case.

Why didn't you reply to my argument?

Again, he had the option which was made public before the vote - vote to accept the poor amount on offer or reject it and get nothing. We simply couldn't offer more.

Just consider for a second, plenty of people less well off than Dodds were shafted on a much more significant level and yet still voted to accept this deal. Only three people/businesses voted against. HMRC who opened proceedings and Chisholm and Dodds.

If he rejected it - no-one was saved and he didn't receive a penny more. The question you should be asking, why did he kick off when it was made public which way he voted? Ask yourself, why did he demand creditors to 'save' Rangers in the media when he refused to do so with Dundee years prior?

He's an absolute rodent. I don't hold anywhere near the same distaste for Chisholm as I do Dodds. Dodds actions spoke a thousand words at the time.

I pretty much agree.

Why though, do you draw this distinction between Chisholm and Dodds?

I want to know why he didn't reveal all at the time when he had a mic in front of him rather than saying the true story would come out. His only excuse can be that it's getting sold to the highest bidder or it's an incredibly complex story that takes ages to tell. I'll go for the former.

I'll bet his story is about how Calum Melville and others are the real villains for financial mismanagement. Dundee fans know all that, that still doesn't justify what he did or buy him any sympathy.

There is literally nothing that he can say that will convince me he was right to do what he did.

Yes, I thoroughly expect that would be the extent of any revelations.

Of course other people were bigger villains in the tale regarding where the club found itself.  The point is however that none of them now want jobs with club.

Scott McDonald was the pitchside reporter today.

Combine that with Richard Gordon having disappeared off the face of the earth, there's some weird(er than usual) goings-on down Sportsound way lately.

He's on holiday
