It's a disgrace that somebody wants the club he made several hundred appearances for to do well. It's almost as if Aberdeen FC were and are a huge part of his life. Some people shouldn't bother with football if it winds them up that much.
Savage Henry
Willie Miller and Liam McLeod still don’t know that you can’t have a red card and a penalty for a genuine attempt to play the ball.

You can want them to do well without actively supporting them on national radio. If you can't be neutral when doing your job then you shouldn't be on there.

You seriously take offence at that [emoji23][emoji23] What’s the difference between this and a podcast for example ? Cos it’s on the BBC ? Let’s not start a discussion on the impartiality of the BBC......

The only people who are duty bound to neutrality are the commentators.

Crawford Bridge
Just out of interest, for how long was Miller Aberdeen's captain?

Dons_1988
Ach look willie isn’t the best pundit, I think if he just talks purely about the game he’s ok but most dons fans recognise he’s a bit off at times. We love him though, that will never change and rightly so.

FuzzyBear
How can Miller give a decent opinion when he admitted he doesnt know the laws of the game.

Ive given up having a meaningful opinion on what's handball or offside these days.

I was listening to that in disbelief after the game today. The BBC don't hold their commentators to any sort of standards at all (no surprise reading above the Liam McLeod didn't know the rules either; he has previous for that).

It isn’t really that difficult.

The fact he almost seemed proud to not know the rules is mad, most folk would be pumped out their job for failing to have a grasp of the facts but the BBC stick by these has-beens

They are allowed to keep on taking a wage whilst sticking to a mantra of "fitbaw wiz better in ma day" and refusing to move with the times accordingly.

You have to admit though that for the likes of handball in the box, no one (including the officials) seems to have a clue of the interpretation and consistency of the laws.
