I had mine over Christmas & New Year ☹ Cheers. 6 days in and still feeling sh1t and testing more positive than Maradona in ‘94. Gutted I can’t be there today but will be cheering on from the sofa. Extra gutted as it’s a perfect day and I was supposed to making a boozy day of it. Edited March 26, 2022 by Tattie36

farflung lichtie
That was a lively game and credit for the fight back.. Seems we have gone more direct in recent games - long balls forward and then every throwin launched high into the box. Is that because the double striker arrangement leaves less scope for a wide player? We have a proper footballing team that can make some lovely passing combinations so mixing it up more would be preferable.

Bringing Donnelly on yesterday at left midfield was a bit bizarre considering what we had on the bench.

Fantastic ball in for the equaliser.

Not often you also see Tam been left on his heels for the 2nd!- is he fit? Kilmarnock are no great shakes- but you need to go on a winning streak. The draws of late would of been wins earlier in the season. Whilst Hamilton is scoring and Wighton busy- actually believe you would be miles ahead if you had managed to keep Nouble and Dowds- they just kept the ball in the final 3rd that Dick Campbell loves- also resulting in Mckenna scoring loads. But , stay close, you can beat Killie and then who knows… ps some season though
the west curve
Killie are only still in Arbroath’s sights due to their abysmal form v Arbroath. Take those games away and Killie would be 10 points clear at the top. Three games and only two goals in total. 0-0 and two 1-0 games in Arbroath’s favour.

It's due to our abysmal form in many games over the season, including the games against Arbroath, where they have been much better than us. We have absolutely nothing to be arrogant or self entitled about as we are simply not good enough to be like that - part from that is is totally wrong to behave like that. I still think if we win our 2 home games we will go up as Arbroath will then most likely have to win all their other games, but we have to earn it by ourselves.

The above statement is wrong on so many levels. Firstly, Arbroath are where they are on merit - few people will dispute that. Secondly, Killie have lost 8 league games this season ( in contrast to Arbroath only losing 4). Thirdly, Arbroath would have been sitting top of the league, but ( like all other teams) went through a short period of under performing in a number of games. There are 5 games to go, 15 points to play for and Killie are only 4 points ahead of Arbroath. Killie will almost certainly drop points - Arbroath need to be ready to capitalise on this. The Killie Vs Arbroath match on Fri 22nd April could potentially be a league decider - depending on how the games play out between now and then. Whatever happens, Arbroath have had an amazing and outstanding season. The roller coaster ride is far from over yet.
