Casual Observer
It’s completely immaterial how many points in front and how much was invested to get there, how many draws could have been wins, how few games were lost, which players (from other teams) would’ve made the difference. Come the end of the season everyone finishes where they deserve to be. If Killie win the league by a goal, a point, or with 3 games to spare so be it. Its been an underwhelming experience for Killie fans from start to (almost) finish with so many anticipated good away days moved to shitey Friday night slots, no Ayrshire derbies played on a Saturday, pish management and tactics from Tommysaurus Wright for the first half of the season, and until recently no coherent form from players who should stand out more than they have, more frequently in this league. I do get the feeling Arbroath are just about hanging on just now but possibly have ran out of steam a little at the same time Killie have found a winning habit and some much needed consistency. Morton away on Friday night is a tough game these days, and a win there may just prove decisive.

SotesBornalichtie
There's a saying that you reap what you sow, so be careful, Fide, with the gloating now that Kilmarnock are top of the league. Everyone expected you to win the league and it's taken you a large part of the season to get to the top. Of course the excuses about bad management, players leaving, etc. are trotted out as justification. Surprisingly, having to play on proper grass pitches away from home has not been thrown into the mix as well. What you fail to recognise is that we have exceeded our expectations this season, whether it's been with a squad of players that you doggedly insist on trying to call "hybrid" or some other half baked term. So, if next season you fail to set the Premiership alight with a manager who had limited success at a previous club with a much better squad of players, accept that there will be some gloating by other supporters. Ach I’m only joking. You’ve quite clearly had an exceptional season.

Probably because we’ve the best away record in the division (to date) so it would sound pretty churlish. But you’ve got to love the selective view that a team has an advantage because they play on Astro. Not forgetting they are death traps of course.

CALDERON
We need to talk about Arbroaths crowds. I remember going to games at Gayfield where the split probably wasn't far off 50-50 home away. To see home crowds of 2k odd, whilst I'm sure current league position has an impact, is pretty wild to be honest. Fair play.
