perthsaint1977 Posted January 2, 2019 Share Posted January 2, 2019 I thought Irvine was okay. A good championship player. Won league with Dundee and St.Mirren ..Yeah and with us. Was good at that level but toiled to cut grade at Celtic and the top league. That's the thing, I can't see him fitting into Celtic as a Left Back the way we play in a 4 at the back system. He would be much better suited to a wing back role in a 5-3-2 system or as a left sided midfielder.
