Benjamin_Nevis
In this debate about managers I don't think any of them are worse than Dave Smith. Smith was nowhere near as bad as these c***s, he just had some utterly bizarre ideas in terms of training, pre match pep talks over the tannoy and clapping the DABs off after a 0-3 horsing at Dens. He did however beat Celtic home and away. Somehow. Coco also seemed to do very well elsewhere. It's telling that McCann has been nowhere near a managers job since and McPake would be lucky to get a job wiping the tactics board down anywhere else.

AFC360PUNK1320
Why do you get so many games called off at Dens Park when you are supposed to be a BIG team yet a Mickey Mouse (your words) team like Arbroath FC can get their game on? Shambles. Smokies & Wine 36-0 Ya Bass! -

RossBFaeDundee
Meant to say, listened to the Studs Up podcast feat. Charlie Adam earlier today. Couple of interesting stories, was talking about a Midfielder's meeting recently where he was impressed with the younger players' mindsets and ability to give their opinion. Also said that McPake asked for a few clips from the section from A View From The Terrace where they were slagging off Dundee and saying we're more likely going down, and showed it to the team prior to the Arbroath game at Dens. Cites that as a big factor in the mentality change that set us off on our unbeaten streak. More of your pish please, AVFTT.
Derry Alli
I've said it from the very beginning, A view from the terrace is truly fucking car crash telly. Good to see it put to a bit of good use. Sad to see its still being made.

Fifespud
An entirely predictable but nonetheless infuriating missed opportunity for Nelms, for once, to get a managerial decision correct. Unbelievable. A manager with a fantastic record managing at a provincial Scottish club, available for nowt. And we’ve got thicko. It’s a dereliction of duty.
Dee Bliss
Pissed off enough with our current manager before reading he’s using they 4 fannies on that terrace program as motivation but to miss out on the absolute obvious appointment in Wright has taken it to a whole new level. Fuckin hell.
D TOTAL
Is it not ironic that we are pining for managers that have been sacked recently, albeit an improvement nonetheless

Only 1 out of the last 4 appointed and binned by Nelms is back in management again, even Hartley took 6 months to find a gig. Once McPake gets binned he will also struggle to find another club, as these were all (apart from Hartley to a point) terrible, terrible appointments. I don't think we would struggle to get someone who is currently employed because the board always back them in time and money.
