All things Dundee FC

Our downfall has been slowly building since Levein and Cathro left and Thompson then gave McNamara the same freedom he had given Levein. McNamara hit the jackpot with a couple of signings but the rest of the big sales were the tail end of the Levein era. Jackie then went tonto with the signings thinking that he would continually unearth gems at every corner which of course he didn't because he is awful.

Sensible planning, especially in Scottish football will continually bring you decent (or at least consistent) levels of achievement. Dundee could be at a crossroads right now, if the manager and board are all on the same page then things will be alright (it looks like they are).

Accept your local knowledge that it started earlier. Agree with you regarding Macnamara, a more venal manager you will not find! Better off with this good Lochee United man that you have now.

Confirmed. All the best you gorgeous, gorgeous man.

Genuinely hope he does well down south.  Pretty certain he will.  A great servant to the club, if only for a short time.

Personally, I think real reason he left was because he was fed up waiting for someone to come up with a decent song about him .  Quick, anyone thought of one for Yordi or El Bak yet?

As long as Hartley dosent get 4 or 5 18 year olds and throws them into the first team, coach them terribly, show up pished with his coaching staff, fall out with their head youth coach and get him sacked, play mental tactics and generally be a cnut then Dundee will be ok.

Unlike us...

Their problems will arise when someone comes in for him...
