I thought you were Scottish, Rab?

But they're not Northern Ireland "fans" as such, they're lost souls looking for an outlet for their misguided beliefs, and the majority of us, (NI fans), don't want them

Ahem. I'm not denying that alot of Rangers fans will be Scotland supporters, however it isn't a secret that there are a certain amount of Rangers supporting utter morons who will opt for Northern Ireland, much like the same idiots on the other side of the fence who support ROI.

Just seen Windsor Parks been closed due to stadium damage.

They're unsure if its subsidence or if it has been caused by the Fans bouncing about

One stand has been temporarily closed, and it appears that it's due to work carried out by the City Council when they dug too closely to the foundations of the Kop Stand whilst working on the development at Olympi Lesiure Centre, meaning it will probably need underpinned.

its going to need a lot more than underpinned. Its either going to fall down or have to be knocked down.

look at the curve in the roof on this before and after pictures

After

The whole weight of the roof and supporting structures is supposedly moving on a daily basis

Parts like this are supposed to be straight

It's knackered:

Of course digging a great big hole right behind the stand will have done the foundations a lot of good!

The hole is part of the work on a leisure complex and not part of the work on the stadium rebuild. No doubt the council contractors will blame the stadium work and the stadium contractors who were going to put a new roof on the stand will blame the council.

some of my earliest sporting memories of NI. Barry McGuigan's father singing Danny Bpy and usually being on the verge of tears by the time it finished.

If NI are choosing a new anthem then no contest, to be honest. Hopefully McGuigan's father is still around to do it as well. At the Euro finals.

The digging of the foundations started before the Finland game, and the stand was absolutely jam packed for that game, but the problems only came to light after the game, meaning we are very lucky we didn't have a disaster on our hands.

Nobody has actually admitted responsibility yet, but BCC seem to accept that they have a part to play in it, due to the aforementioned foundations for the Leisure Centre being placed right at the back of the Kop stand, as can be seen in some of realmadrid's excellent pictures.

That said, the rest of the new ground is shaping up very nicely.
