jmothecat
There is not a single member of the Labour party today that should not feel shame and absolute embarrassment when Keir Hardie is mentioned. Labour are finished. Just let that sink in. Why should we be embarrassed? It's our party and we will run it he way we see fit, not on what Kier Hardie may have wanted. Labour will form the next government.

Labour will form the next government. Fair enough. If you're happy with your party being a lie-strewn, falsehood spreading, contradictory, hypocritical, despised, backtracking, selective, ignorant, amoral, immoral, two faced, laughable, derisory, out of touch, unpopular, right wing, Tory-lite, goalpost shifting, broken mess then who am I to stop you? Dear oh dear.
Dunning1874
SNP. I strongly doubt the Greens will have a candidate standing and in any case the SNP are the only ones with the slightest chance of turfing out Labour in Inverclyde, who had a majority of 20% in the by-election in 2011 and 38% in 2010. It's a ridiculously safe seat, but Iain McKenzie is a total non-entity whereas David Cairns had been well liked, so there's maybe the slightest chance if the SNP find a credible candidate (ie. not a local councillor) and many of those who voted Yes in the referendum can be persuaded to vote against Labour. We had 27,243 Yes votes while McKenzie was elected with 15,118 (the SNP were second with 9,280). Obviously some of them will go back to Labour along with a much smaller turnout though. BerwickMad
As much as some may cry, Labour aren't going to shift dramatically back to the left. Those days are gone. It would make them unelectable. The third way, is the way to go.

Crùbag
What do people think a realistic popular vote share % for the SNP is at the General election? 30% is probably their limit. Would be a victory but Labour are still likely to waltz it by a 2 figure lead.

Well now that's where Salmond would play ball and do the same things if he were in power. Remember that he sent Fred Goodwin arsey wee good luck letters when the idiot bought Amro. Amazing that people can't see that Salmond and Blair are c**ts

Labour will form the next government. Hardie had an idea of what the Labour movement was for, who it stood for and who's side it was on. The absolute travesty of the last 20 years is the fact that you fuckers forgot all that.

Scary Bear
If the turnout isn't as high as it was for the Referendum, which it probably won't be, then all you need to win a few extra seats is the more committed voters. Hopefully with social media and the various groups that have sprung up, this should favour the SNP. Especially if there is to be a protest vote, once we see the sub-standard powers that Westminster try to fob us off with.
