renton
So, the SNP have announced that John Swinney and Linda Fabiani will be the SNP representatives on the commission to decide on further devolution. That's joining Michael Moore and Tavish Scott from the Lib Dems and Annabel Goldie and Prof. Adam tompkins (idiot) for the tories. No word yet on the Greens and Labour, though I think Patrick Harvie will be involved with that from the Greens and Labour are currently somewhere on the yellow brick road trying to find a brain and a spine, so no doubt we'll hear in due course. interestingly they wil apparently be starting from the Devo+ position advocated from the Purvis commission which stipulated the Scottish parliament raising 60% of it's own expenditure including both 100% income tax and corporation tax, as well as Air Passenger Duty. Pessimistically I can only see them rowing back from this middlesome position. it also only seems to cover those fiscal policies, we need to hear mor eon which social policies will be devolved. Perosnally I'd like to see Energy and the Crown estates devolved as well. With the SNP having nominated two MSPs I'm hoping the Greens with their limited pool of two MSPs will involve a non politician to sit alongside Tompkins. This could be a fun circus to watch. Confidemus
Anything less than "everything except defence and foreign affairs" and they can get fucked, imo. I wonder if Lord Smith of Kelvin will invite any of the representatives to the island he owns, the silver spooned fucker.

You've become even more of a c**t since you crawled out of the woodwork (or should that be woodshed) after the dust had settled. I didn't think that was even possible. Why are unionists so scared of full devomax as in the kind suggested by confidimus? Does it not still keep us within the United Kingdom. After all, we would have to ensure the books are balanced and we stand on our own financial feet. I thought a right wing capitalist would be all for this. What certainly ISNT going to happen is to allow a defeated nationalist party dictate any terms. They had their shot and made an arse of it. They will certainly be involved in the process going forward, but their response will be boringly predictable regardless no matter what is presentedm and eventually delivered. Yep, in much the same way that David Attenborough gives a f**k about insects. It's fascinating to me that the Lesser Spotted Reynard disappears after the Yougov poll, then reappears after No win, giving it the Billy Big Baws act. Dunno about gorgeous, I've seen your twitter pic. You look like a hipster from Shettleston.

Au contraire my dear Reynard. I would imagine most in the "nationalist" camp wish control of our finance and resource above all else. Devomax is a compromise position. The kind that may at some point be on the Westminster agenda is not devomax. It is likely to be a bodge of inefficiency and complication. Full devomax means that the revenue generated here is what we have to spend. It will encourage fiscal responsibility I fail to see how anyone who professes to be a right wing capitalist, can compromise that belief by arguing that they are content to take handouts in the form of block grants from others. Unless they have a different "nationalist" agenda of course.
