Men have it alright.

What yardsticks are you using?

If you're arguing that feminists are not fighting for equal rights, but rights for women over men, then I'd argue that it doesn't really tie in with the definition of feminists which I posted earlier.

The definition of feminism is irrelevant and a red herring. The underlying ideology and actions of feminism is what counts, and it's clear that feminism absolutely fights for the rights of women/girls over men/boys, often at the expense of men, and feminists often actively fight against rights for men and men trying to highlight/improve the lot of men and boys.

The sisterhood's party line though is that feminism is about equality of women and men, which you can only even partially tally if you believe in that underlying ideology of 2nd wave (~1970s) through to modern 3rd/4th wave feminism, namely that all women are oppressed by all men, and have been since the dawn of civilisation.

To be fair, that's a lot of dishes.

Banana is obviously the type of man who is repulsive to women and hates them as a result.

That's another classic actually  Neckbeard, virgin, parent's basement, etc.

This is turning in feminist logic bingo, keep em coming!

That seems very specific to USA to me , which remember dont even offer maternity pay they are one fucked up backwards gunloving racist-cop filled country. So they may be a bigger problem there but I can say that in every job I have ever worked in the woman doing the same job have been paid the same.

Thanks for posting these.

The first is a good example of media (generally left wing) bias propagating the gender wage gap myth, and someone as apparently smart as Oliver really should know better. There is no wage gap, there is an earnings gap. Total earned by all men minus Total earned by all women. There is an earnings gap on average generally due to the different choices made by men and women, such as but not limited to profession and hours worked (men on average work in more highly paid professions, and work longer hours). Once all factors are taken into account, any small gap that remains (~4% by some estimates) is an 'unknown' earnings gap. There is no evidence to suggest that this final unknown gap has anything to do with sexism against women. This has been know for a very long time, but the feminists mainstream media and politicians right to the top (Obama, Hilliary, Cameron) keep regurgitating the myth. It infantilises women.

Here's an equality feminist rather than an ideological feminist talking about the gender wage gap myth (in the USA, the same applies in the UK):

Here's a good more in-depth breakdown of why there is an earnings gap:

The second link is a good example of feminism manipulating statistics/studies to 'prove' oppression by wielding one flawed study that set out to find sexism against women. The introduction of the study indicates the bias already set in the authors' minds, and part of the limitations section at the end is also telling:

One limitation of our study is that the respon-dents were students making simulated hiring decisions based on limited information.

The Feminism has a very long and infamous history of this kind of manipulation, and you'll rarely if ever see a study come out of a Gender Studies department that shows anything but women being disadvantaged or oppressed in some way.

EDIT: updated wrong video

If all else fails, resort to "well that's exactly what a *insert bad person here* would say!". Sure sign of a flounder.

BINGO!

Feel free to refute my points with evidence rather than endless ad hominem.
