The Master Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 There was 3 at this stage last year (Celtic v Aberdeen, Utd v St Mirren and Sevco v Dunfermline) Dundee v Celtic and Raith's trip to the Donnay Dome are certainly stick-ons for the telly but no idea for the 3rd game. The thing is, Sevco aren't the "stick-on" many believe. Sure, it has a high probability of being picked but with two lower v Premier ties (Stranraer/Dunfermline v Utd and Queen of the South v St Johnstone) there's some doubt. Third game is a bit harder. Think if we get through then us vs United will have a decent chance. A decent draw for us, would be a big crowd and a good atmosphere. The reason I said there would be doubt is because of the two ties with Premiership teams away to lower league sides, one of which includes the holders in a potential banana skin. parsforlife Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 Meh, should we beat stranraer we have little chance of progressing any further , as said theres a few pars connections up there and it be nice seeing back at EEP. Financially , its ok and with a bit of luck we could get 5000 at the game but its not huge sums once everything its taken into account, that of course changes massively should it be a tv game which some have mentioned but personally i can't see it being picked. The Sevco Killi game played in an near empty stadium must have put the knockers on a Raith Rovers game as a major tie.
