dave.j
I'm liking the look of the Adidas Riviera reissues that are coming out. Quite nice. Tobacco with the London lace hole zig zag strip.

Deeboy
£60 is a bit on the high side, I've had two pairs and retaining shape is an issue.

frankmccallum
I have those Spezials; decent enough trainer but they do lose their shape after a while. I'd still recommend them though.

Monster
Due an autumn release. Hideously cheap looking. What's the fascination currently in making trainers goretex? If you want waterproof buy goretex hiking boots. Trainers are for sports or urban wear, not tramping about the munros. At what age are you too old for trainers? There was some research done on this last year. Various fashion folk and people with a sociology degree or whatever. They decided it was 52 years old. What that's based on I have no idea. With some trepidation I'm going to ask P&B's advice Yes or no? £60 Yes. Nice colourway.

Any suede trainer gets worn about twice in six months and most leather trainers are bawfing.
Honest_Man#1
Yeah. More comfortable than shoes. That is just unacceptable. One of the jakiest things I can think of is seeing people at their work wearing trousers and a pair of beast shoes. Pretty sure you can get them at any 10 pin bowling alley. This is the reason I occasionally look through this thread. Some of the responses to pictures are absolutely brilliant.

Bert Raccoon
I've got a pair of those Spezials as well. As has been said, nice trainers but lose shape quite rapidly.

Bert Raccoon
After careful consideration of all your replies I've decided to treat myself. Just beware, after one day wearing mine I was saying everything was "teckle" and had a £60 a day cocaine habit.

I might be picking you up wrong, Bert, but are saying that's a bad thing? FWIW, KB, it's a no from me, on the trainers. They're awright but not £60 awright. You dig?

One coat does for the life of the trainer.
