Delighted for him. Too good for Berdych.

He's got a great chance in the final if he plays like that. Expect Novak to get through and he will be the favourite, but Andy looks in great shape.

Total cruise control from Murray after the 1st set. A couple of games of totally woeful 2nd serves in the 4th set nearly letting Berdych back in were the only worry, but all in all a very comfortable match.

Now he gets an extra day's rest where hopefully he'll get to watch Novak and Stan knock themselves out in an epic.

Murray has suddenly found a superb on-court attitude. He's not growling and scowling anymore, he rarely gets too annoyed at missing and he's smiling all over the place. It's no coincidence that he's in incredible form.

Tomorrow morning I don't know who to root for. Obviously Wawrinka would give Murray a better chance to win (on paper at least) but another Final against Djokovic with Murray in this sort of form could bring another match like the 2012 U.S. Open Final.

It doesn't matter his opponent. Murray will win. He is serving better than he was when he won the US Open and Wimbledon, as you said he is calmer and retaining his focus far more successfully. He is absolutely re-engaged with tennis again. Throughout 2014 you got the feeling that he didn't like tennis, that he wasn't happy and accepted defeat rather meekly. As it turns out there was a lot of stuff in the background that was contributing to this, and now he is free from that stress and anxiety.

Another contributing factor do his poor year was his comeback from back surgery. I think under Lendl he was pushed back too early, when he felt he wasn't ready. It certainly showed as he couldn't serve at all until he got to the French Open. Even then he still had an erratic ball toss due to the pain in his back. He did not have a full off season training, and that was shown later on in the year when he felt fatigue and cramping during the US Open.

His second serve is still his main weakness, but there is more variety in it, and he has been hitting second serve aces due to the spin and variety on it. His deep defensive slice is finally finding it's length again (that shot destroyed Djokovic at Wimbledon), he is leaner and quicker. His movement looks to be as good as it was at his peak, if not better.

Badly blistered feet cost him in the last Australian Open final against Djokovic. I think this time he is ready.
