Tbf banana offered the bet on over/under vote share in the first place. Why would anyone put an evens odds bet on something that the bookies have at 5/1 or whatever it is now?

He's doing it for charity though which I think he can at least be applauded for.

If it came out that any other Presidential candidate offered a porn star $10,000 for sex it would end his campaign. For Trumpets it's just "What do you expect, she's a porn star."

That's hardly what I said, what I said was that I found it amusing that someone who has sex for money was outraged when she was offered money to have sex.

I've since learned that she is also accusing him of groping her and making unwanted advances, which doesn't surprise me as he is a fucking creep. But at this stage it is a allegation, no evidence has been shown. All of this is said to have happened 10 years ago, so why did she wait until days before people go to vote on a election?

He said in the second debate that the bus video was just talk, he doesn't really grope women uninvited. Eleven women then stepped forward and said, well actually, yes you do. Therefore the timing, but the Democrats would have been really thick not to encourage it behind the scenes. I was talking about Trump supporters rather than you BTW.

The new york post want the next president to increase military spending. I think America has enough oh a military as it is.

Soldiers 10 years ago were offered money and other incentives to stay in the military because enlistment was down due to public opinion on the Iraq war, now those soldiers are being told they have to repay the incentives

Just watching a recording of breakfast tv in America. A Republican is pointing out that Trump's team set him up with a perfect opportunity to turn the race around after yet another blown chance to hammer Hillary at the last debate. A time to show America a dignified and serious Trump. The next day, a speech in Gettysburg (almost like Mecca or Rome for Americans) to announce what he would solemnly commit to doing in his first hundred days. Get away from the groper and tin hat stuff and convince the electorate that he's serious about making America greater. What does he do, spends the first ten minutes talking about suing women who accuse him of groping them and how unfair the media are. Any Republican apart from Ted Cruz and Ben Carson could have won this year. I don't think Trump ever really wanted to win, he's just addicted to publicity and this is exponentially the most he's ever had, but he knows he's not up to the job and consciously or unconsciously is sabotaging his own campaign. P.S. It seems Trump TV is making an early start on Facebook.

Interesting to see Trump pop up in the Netflix Amanda Knox documentary.
He was calling for a boycott of Italy because he didn't like the guilty verdict. That could be an insight into how his foreign policy might workout.

Eye witness testimony is evidence. We dont question people who bravely came forward after Saville or other people who report historical abuse in this country, why should it be any different for this girl?

That is.why we have corroboration. Eye witness testimony from an accuser isn't as reliable as third party testimony as shown by the number of cases where women have falsely accused others of rape.

If Saville was still alive when these claims were made then the people that made them absolutely would have been questioned.

In Trump's cases if they ever go to trial, which I doubt, his testimony on the bus will be the number one corroboration testimony for the accusers.

If you apply Scots law to the situation then there is plenty of corroboration using the moorov doctrine and magicop. I dont think its fair deriding people who are the victims of sexual assault simply because it took them a while to come forward nor because of the job/lifestyle they choose.

I am not sure that moorov would apply given the timescales and locations of the alleged incidents.

I also am not deriding anyone, only pointing out that the people that came forward about Saville have not been questioned only due to there being no court case. As a policeman, you would be negligent in your duties if you did not question an alleged victim of crime to establish the veracity of their claims.

Well I'm obviously not going to take the bet at 50-50 given the polls, so I'll pass.

Over-under charity bet starting the bidding at 45.0% Trump offer still on the table for anyone else still interested. Anything up to 50 quid.

I'll go £50 on Trump getting less than 45.0% of the popular vote, but f**k charity, I want the cash.
