If a defender challenges an attacker like that it's never ever going to be a penalty, therefore it's never a freekick when an attacker challengers a defender like that. Ross. Posted September 6, 2016 Share Posted September 6, 2016 Good win for Switzerland tonight and thought over the 90 minutes it was well deserved. A bit of late pressure aside, Portugal didn't offer a massive threat.Atmosphere was tremendous. Always impressed by how well St Jakobs holds in noise. Only 36000 there but sounded like there were twice as many in the ground. Perhaps helped by me sitting 10 foot from the brass fucking band. highlandcowden Posted September 7, 2016 Share Posted September 7, 2016 did ITV really have to devote half an hour of their 90 min wcq highlights programme to the England ,Scotland and ni games that theyd already devoted a more extensive highlights programme to a couple of nights previously;.which meant of course that almost all the other games were shoehorned into the last 15 minutes where they didn't even show all the goals-not enough time I assume though of course there was enough time to get glen hoddles views on the England u21 game. No surprise given that Estonia haven't avoided defeat in a competitive away game since a 0-0 in San Marino in November 2014 and their last away goal was against Andorra in October 2013.
