Going through our first team squad it's quite frightening how few that's definitely worth keeping.

Kawa and Riski, untested.

Murray, untested at this level.

Donaldson and Muirhead, not seen enough of them.

Dillon, Paton, Rankin and Dixon, past it.

Morris, injured too often.

Anier and Durnan, awful.

Souttar, get him to f**k.

Apart from short-term loans, that leaves Spittal, Fraser and Telfer. All of whom could be decent players playing with more mature, experienced team mates.

ETA have left out some of the fringe players as, again, it's too early to say how good they may be.

A loan to the championship with a view of evaluating Connolly for next season would have been a little smarter, he's still pretty young can see him playing at a higher level than the club at this rate.

I liked him as a player, he always said the right things, seemed like a nice guy and was good for a few ridiculous challenges every game (but as someone pointed out correctly it was as a result of him being out of position regularly). Wish him all the best but he is probably doing the right thing and moving as far away from this shite as possible!

300k - only three times the amount Dundee received for Craig Forsyth back in 2011, their most recent transfer income.

Bit miffed to see Connolly go, he's the kind of player we've been missing, apart from the probably-not-good-enough bit. Telfer too is surely still worth persevering with long-term.

That 300k will easily cover the £204k you have wasted on fat Charlie Telfer and the circa £100k still outstanding for the Derby tickets.

Wolves staved off once more.

Piss poor attempt!
