The Naitch
Really sad to hear this news. He was manager when I started going to games so always had a soft spot for him. Condolences to his friends and family.
DreamOakTree1
Very sad News on Allan McGraw, deserved title of Mr Morton, a legend as a player and manager! Rest in Peace Allan!️
Mr.Blue
Legend is a word that gets thrown about a lot these days but its totally apt for Mr. McGraw.
kirkcaldybanjo111
Sad to hear the news about Alan McGraw. A great servant for Morton. I remember when Morton won promotion at the San Starko about one hundred years ago, Alan McGraw threw his sticks away to celebrate with the players and the fans on the pitch. A local hero R.I.P.
Paisley Ton
Sad news passed him coming down from the car park on Saturday. Just started following the Ton after he left, but his mark will never leave Cappielow. RIP

NewarkTon
Thank you Mr McGraw. I wasn't fortunate enough to see you play for Morton, however I remember you as a manager, who always did, what you thought was best for Morton. A legend on and off the pitch. Benjamin_Nevis
McGraw brought through a seemingly endless conveyor belt of really talented players through the late 80s and early 90s and from my now distant recollections his sides were brilliant to watch. RIP

RIP Two Scotland internationals got their debuts under him in Hopkin and McInnes as well as many others who went to have solid careers: Alan Mahood, Derek Lilley, Derek Collins, Davie Wylie, Craig McPherson, Brian Reid, John Anderson off the top of my head. The total transfer fees we received on youth products in his time as manager must have been massive. He'd also been coaching the reserves since the 70s as well, so can claim credit for Joe McLaughlin and Neil Orr among many others.

The Ghost of B A R P
Hard to know what to say about McGraw... the guy who did the obituary on the Morton forum has said it all: Allan McGraw- An Obituary - Feature Articles - TheMortonForum.com Excellent piece, which closes with the words 'We will never see his like again'. We really won't.
Colkitto
Listening to Dougies pre match comments and he brought up the supporters booing at half time. For me he has misinterpreted who the fans were actually booing The fans were booing the Ref not the players
Dunning1874
Yeah, the half-time booing was 100% aimed at the ref. Not that any particularly egregious decisions had been made, it was just a gradual accumulation of wee instances of letting Cove defenders away with things Morton defenders weren't getting away with and penalising Morton attackers for things Cove attackers weren't being penalised for, but there's no chance that was aimed at the team.
TONTROOPER
I see Dougie was at New Douglas Park this evening. I hope his eyes have stopped bleeding before tomorrow's game.

G_&_T
Some result at Queen's Park today. I was hoping you'd snatch a late winner, but all things considered, coming back from two down away to the league leaders is a great result. Looking forward to the highlights.
