pandarilla Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 Chris Sutton reckons that Martinez shouldn't be angry about Terry's offside goal today because Man City should've had a penalty on Wednesday. Surely Sutton (for all that he's an absolute walloper) has a point here. Martinez claimed it wasn't a foul in midweek but seems to be the only one who thinks that (I haven't seen it but by pretty much all accounts it should've been given). Of course he's going to be angry with yesterday's offside but his comments were ridiculous. It wasn't blatant offside at first glance but with replays it's clearly a mistake. Mistakes happen. Some go for you, some go against. It's rare that the turnaround happens so quickly but still. Too many managers forget the decisions that go for them.
