Exactly. When a player is running through against a goalkeeper it is an obviously goalscoring opportunity, surely more chance of scoring against a defender who can't use his hands.

i can see why the ref gave the red, but as i said its arguable given cahill was almost on him anyway, gomis had knocked the ball wideer, and iirc terry wasnt far away either

if gomis isnt fouled he has to get control of it again, and either it it past cahill who would have been right on top of him by then or take it past cahill
