~~~ Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 It's not hard to avoid in the slightest. In fact, it's extremely easy to avoid watching the EPL if you don't want to. Really? Seems to me the entire UK sport media promotes the EPL. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
callum-ayr Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Really? Seems to me the entire UK sport media promotes the EPL. Promoting it and watching it is 2 completely different things. Instead of watching English games you could be watching Scottish, Dutch, German, Spanish or Italian games across Sky and BT Sport. Or if you don't like watching the likes of Man Utd or any other team, don't watch the game they are involved in. Simples. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
P45 Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Southampton v Everton on BT Sport It sounds like it will be another dull game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jagfox Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Southampton are one of the better teams in the league, Everton are, well, toffee. Home win Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Honest_Man#1 Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 A bit like Ayr United then? Luckily I'm in Middlesbrough this weekend so I do actually get to avoid watching Ayr Utd. Really? Seems to me the entire UK sport media promotes the EPL. Promoting it and watching it is 2 completely different things. Instead of watching English games you could be watching Scottish, Dutch, German, Spanish or Italian games across Sky and BT Sport. NorthernLights Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Anyone else streaming the game from the BT Sport website on their desktop/laptop? The picture quality is awful as usual. They had a list of signings Southampton had made and you couldn't make out any of the names. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
accies1874 Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Can't see Everton getting a result today which will mount more (unwarranted) pressure on Martinez. The backlash on Everton's Twitter after the Watford game calling for his head was mental. Apparently some fans have got a plane to fly over St Mary's telling Kenwright to leave. SlipperyP Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Just put a wee bet on Southampton, expect an Everton win now folk. Don't watch much EPL, but on my sickbed and not much else to do. C'Mon the Saints Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
David W Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I don't mind Hoddle. Decent start to the game, as it usually is when Southampton are playing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
callum-ayr Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Schneiderlin, Alderweireld and Clyne are going to be really big misses for Southampton this year. Don't think they'll go down, however think it could be a long season and they may struggle to make the top 10 IMO. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chupacabra Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 It's hard to avoid it since the English game dominates our market I've decided to avoid a lot of English games this year as they usually end up pissing me off by how w**k and overhyped they are. Only game I've watched so far was Chelsea - Swansea and that was because I was in a good football mood after the Queens game, didn't regret that one to be fair. Think I've been justified in my actions overall though. It's promoted to f**k but it's not hard to just not watch the games. I ended up canceling Sky to get away from it all but kept BT for Europe and Scottish Championship. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
