Yet another US shooting

Not a shooting, but indicative of a mindset…

Here’s a gem about kids carrying guns in public places without adult supervision…

“While it may be intuitive that a 14-year-old has no legitimate purpose, it doesn't actually mean that they're going to harm someone. We don't know that yet,” said Rep. Tony Lovasco, a Republican from the St. Louis suburb of O'Fallon. “Generally speaking, we don't charge people with crimes because we think they're going to hurt someone.”

I wonder what will happen first, a 13 y.o. with an AR-15 opens up in a Wendy's or the cops blow away a 14y.o because they thought there was 'intent to use'.

2014. Tamir Rice. A 12-year old playing with a toy gun.

At the time, the best the police apologists could come up with was “They have a difficult job” and “Well, he was big for his age. “

That article is a depressing read. Nothing appears to have changed.

Not a mass shooting, but always nice to see a pro gun nut offed by his own weapon, especially when it's self inflicted and hilarious like this. A Darwin awards winner.

3 dead and several more in hospital, after a gunman goes on a rampage at Michigan State Uni. The shooter was located several hours later offsite, having then killed himself.

2nd one in a little over a year is awful for the students and staff there

One of the students was at Sandy Hook too…the chances would seem to be remote, but apparently not in modern ‘Murica.

Absolutely brutal. Perhaps once every American has either been involved or had a family member involved in a mass shooting things will improve.

Shouldn't be too long now.

I have friends that work at Michigan State, they are safe (they were at home with their kids at the time) but still this one hits a bit close to home

My friends daughter is at MSU and studies in the library beside where that happened, she was going to be there but crashed her car.
