Bundesliga 2023/24

A 2-1 defeat in Düsseldorf to finish off the season. Usual shite finishing cancelled out any chance of a point.
Just under 3000 away fans.
2nd time at the, now Merkur, Spiel Arena which when full is a good away trip. U-Bahn direct to stadium from the main station, able to pay cash and for segregation reasons after the game the away fans get shuttle-bussed back to the city centre, probably getting quicker than the home fans.

Case of wait and see as to what happens to the squad over the summer. Ihlas Behou has now signed for Hoffenheim.

Stuttgart / Union Berlin is Thursday/Monday. Not sure why Union tend to chuck it at this point in the season. They‘d have to invest in some seating for the away section, but costs for that would surely be offset by higher income in BL1.
If Stuttgart do get relegated then an even more daunting task regarding promotion next year with VfB, Hamburg, Nuremberg plus H96 looking for the 3 places.

Play-off between Wehen Wiesbaden & Ingolstadt is Friday / Tuesday.

Not sure what look the guy with the face paint & beret was looking for.

Good away support considering relegation has already been confirmed. Really dislike the multi-coloured seating at Fortuna's stadium but as you say, it's very good when full.

Cheers for all the pics over the course of the season, love to see the stadiums from a different perspective.

Union already have plans to increase the capacity of their stadium, regardless of the outcome of the playoff

Presumably Hazard is Pulisic’s replacement on the wing? I’ve always associated Brandt as a left winger, albeit I’ve not seen much of the Budesliga this season, does that suggest that they’re willing to let Sancho go for a hugely inflated fee?

Magnificent performance from Union in the first leg. Very unlucky not to win in the end. 2 away goals to take back to Berlin is a great advantage. Hostile atmosphere which Stuttgart will not enjoy, and home form was the best in 2. Bundesliga, with the only blip coming against Paderborn. In contrast, Stuttgart won just once on the road.

'Mon the Stuttgart. Union winning will just delude them into thinking they're Berlin's rightful second-best side...

I'll give Union credit, I might not like them much but I do go see them (and BFC) once a year and the Stadion is f*****g bouncing everytime - like tonight.
