The Darienists - the people who believed and invested and lost everything in the Darien scheme - are the people who sold Scotland down the river for English gold, you fucking dim bulb.

The permaraging turps drinking pseudointellectual Britnat with the new decades first swing and a miss post. Kinky getting off to a flyer in the new season as he's wanting to rack up a few early scores on the board before he becomes obsolete in post Indy Scotland.

DeeTillEhDeh
Very disappointing to see Kincardine speaking so ill of the English. The English! Does that make him one of these ethno-nationalists he keeps going on about?

Utter Roaster
Interesting article in The Times - hardly a friend of the Indy cause - on Saturday, where they sent one of their scribes to judge the mood north of the border. Very surprised to see them print comments from a range of well heeled Edinburgh professional types and self confessed Unionists saying they would seriously consider voting yes next time. Absolutely rabid hatred of BoJo cited as the main reason.

John Lambies Doos
Interesting article in The Times - hardly a friend of the Indy cause - on Saturday, where they sent one of their scribes to judge the mood north of the border. Very surprised to see them print comments from a range of well heeled Edinburgh professional types and self confessed Unionists saying they would seriously consider voting yes next time. Absolutely rabid hatred of BoJo cited as the main reason. Not surprising tbh. My parents both SNP moved further north from Glasgow into countryside after my old fellas retirement. Being new into a community they built a new social circle, unfortunately mostly Torys due to demographics. One of their 'new' friends used to be fairly high in the Tory party and will still campaign for them, however he detests Johnson. Now, he still toes the party line and will probably always vote Tory but 2daughters (who would have been raised as Tory's and were both previously Tory members) have defected to SNP. There has been influence from their husbands but it's quite a shift. Whether they will back independence is to be seen however they are moving in right direction.
