(Answers in links in white text below) https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1214450/boris-johnson-letter-general-election-2019-tory-party-labour-jeremy-corbyn-latest https://labour.org.uk/press/this-election-is-a-once-in-a-generation-chance-for-real-change-jeremy-corbyn/ I I have never stated that the referendum should be once in a generation. Maybe the SNP should have likewise refrained.

It may come as a surprise but you will find that the SNP are centre left, and there are many members who were once Labour supporters. Thankfully no fuckin tories though. Though we have had a few Rangers supporters on our Independence marches.

SandyCromarty
With the desire among the Scottish people to secure Independence gathering pace and being ahead of the no mob in the polls all the unionists have is to bang on about the 'once in a generation' and currency, that is now six years old and hardly worth mentioning unless they come up with something new nobody is giving a shit, otherwise the polls would be in favour of the union with a positive No. So unless there is some new 'Scotland is doomed if they go it alone' pro unionist policies lets move on. The BritNats currently appear to be banking on the idea that either the polls are rigged and/or screaming the same things about currency - only louder - will turn things around if their nightmare scenario of Scots voting for and getting a referendum eventuates, and a real national (or regional, as they’d have it) debate starts up. The “they’re just polls; if, God forbid, that wee Nippy Krankie ned gets a referendum, CURRENCY WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING IN BLIGHTY’S FAVOUR!” attitude is strong.

The “they’re just polls; if, God forbid, that wee Nippy Krankie ned gets a referendum, CURRENCY WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING IN BLIGHTY’S FAVOUR!” attitude is strong. On the subject of vote rigging/electoon fraud you may recall Blurt Davidson announcing the result of the 2014 Independence referendum postal vote in favour of No well before it was officially announced. the Scottish Independence act of 2013 clearly states that anyone trying to find out the outcome of a postal ballot or 'communicate and information with respect thereto' would face a fine of £5000 or a year in prison. Ruth Davidson was then questioned by the police but insisted only as a witness and after a year long investigation all was closed. As for currency, on gaining Independence Scotland will apply for EU membership, a country applying for membership cannot be using the currency of a non EU country as per EU rules, so it is clear that the english pound would never be an option and Scotland would introduce an interim currency.
