Broony88 Posted August 1, 2015 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Lucky lucky queens 4minutes injury time and the trainers where never on...I feel robbed, in fact the last I was robbed was by a sandside Apache who stole ma towel at the baths and ma gutties, went hame in ma socks, nowts changed Wasn't at the game but can't imagine the last 20 mins were played in a rush by Annan. First half was fairly even but Annan were much better in second half and two of best players on the pitch in Osadolor and weatherson. Anyone think Osadolor could do a job for us (he missed a great chance in first half or was it a good challenge by Dowie)? Last 20mins of second hald couldn't see a way back as midfield were very poor and didn't dominate until Conroy freekick hit the back post and somehow didn't go in. At that thought game was a goner but Hilson managed a late goal - surprised how much more time ref added on after the goal. First sending off finished Annan off and Queens managed a goal at far end after a few close efforts. Annan tired badly but deserve a lot of credit. Disappointed to see Queens fans haven't put last season behind them with a flare lit and set off again. A really disjointed looking performance from us that deserved less than it ultimately got, even if it did include what will surely still be our goal of the season, come May next year. Disjointed is probably a good description of the game. Pretty much in control first half, apart from a couple of Osadolor chances but really poor second half. Conroys goal was something very special but Hilson was well offside for Lyles first - although he looked onside for the disallowed goal late on.
