Ira Gaines
I'm a fan of watching him getting Scottish journalists seething every time but aye, he's a total c**t.

If you speak to him, as a few people on this site have, he'll freely admit it's something he does on Twitter to generate traffic. He was slagging off ICT (no surprise given his history with us) because we were signing a load of English lads when Butcher was in charge. Murray had some how contrived to miss a number of articles published in the days before where Butcher had been quoted that he has to go for these guys because they cost buttons compared to some of the ages that the Scottish guys were chasing when ICT approached them. We were simply cutting our cloth and, in a lot of cases, getting much better players. It was a no brainer, signing better players that what was on offer up here, and they wanted far less money. 6 minutes ago, ICTChris said: Ewan Murray plays up to this all the time. It's an act. I get the feeling there's one or two of those on this website actually I've spoken to him a couple of times, the most recent was just after Christmas last year in the Corriegarth and he was absolutely normal. Spoke to him for about 20 minutes about Scottish football, mostly ICT and Hearts and then about Rory McIlroy. This Twitter persona is definitely to get the #numbers.

He appeared on the ICT site under the username 'Cyril'. He pretended to be an ICT fan and generally joined in the chat but was also prone to bit of trolling and winding folk up. He also posted an odd tale of urinating with Liam Keogh in the toilets of some pub or hotel and admiring his dick and commented on how big it was. He was eventually rumbled by one of the posters on the site as a Hearts fan and instead of bowing out with good grace or having a laugh he threatened legal action against the site for some reason. A really bizarre person.

Now unless I've missed something, the only genuinely bad pitch in the top flight in recent seasons was Fir Park - back when Gretna were alive and abusing it as ground-sharers. Since then Scottish football pitches - in the top flight and, shock, even at most venues in the lower leagues, have been smooth, flat and entirely conducive to playing football 'the right way' or otherwise. It's almost as if he's a tragic golfist roped in to pass judgement on a game that he doesn't follow too well. To be fair, our pitch was an absolute travesty for most of last season due to its various issues. A lot better now though.

ArabGaz
I'm fairly certain that he phoned up Sportsound on the verge of tears to have a go at Michael Stewart having the audacity to slag off Gary Locke. He seems to be the sensitive type.
Tulloch Gorum
There are people in this country who love nothing better than wallowing in how shite they think everything Scottish is. Well no - it's a thread discussing terrible journalism in Scottish football; this is his natural home then. Given that his fail is more often than not spun out into an absolute mess of a piece for The Guardian I'm not buying this cunning, Twitter troll theory. The Inverness CT forum revelations seem to confirm that he's just an utterly tragic loser. Edited October 2, 2016 by vikingTON
