Have put this idea forward before, but the way I see it any further referendai must form part of a "best of three" series.

Alternatively, a double or quits scenario. Should Yes win then Scotland should become a certain to fail, independent country. Should No win again then the Scottish parliament should be dissolved entirely.

I'm sure all on both sides would agree that these are the only fair grounds for a further referendum this "generation".

I agree with this totally

Feck devolution and the existing parliament(vows and all)

It should be independence or nothing. Scottish or British

Bring it on!!!!

Fair enough. I would pleased if any EU Member State vetoed an independent Scotland. It would have total control of its laws. We'd be better off out of the EU and in EFTA instead like Norway.

Not how it works. Norway, if it wants to continue trading with the EU must follow certain laws and regulations without having a say on how those laws are brought in.

Only on laws and regulations access to the Single Market/European Economic Area. EU membership gives Brussels control over borders, migration, home affairs, justice (including human rights), agriculture, fisheries, energy, transport etc.

The alternative is the Swiss model (also in EFTA) which is to agree trade deals for each sector. They key point is that an independent Scotland could still trade with the EU as it does now by joining EFTA instead.

It'll have been done based on the recent polling.

Expect Downing Street to shoot it down, and a Corbyn f**k up in had next 5-6 months which will boost it right up.

All downing said was that "the people of scotland voted to remain part of the uk and they will see through the commitments to extra powers"

No need for another referendum at all, fighting in the streets, bullying, the pound going down in the markets, we could end up in a civil war next.

The Independent Socialist State of Glasgow and Surrounding Counties would be gr8. Sign me up.
