Lex
Is Cameron Norrie any good on grass? He’s the 9th seed, but is 200/1 at Paddy Power. Potentially worth a flutter. Norrie is a bit of an enigma. He’s consistently good on tour, which is reflected in his ranking and seeding. However, his record in grand slams is atrocious. He’s never made it past the third round once in any of the big four tournaments, despite repeatedly being seeded to do so.This year he’s already lost in straight sets in the first round of Australia and the third of the French to players seeded below him. He’s not some up and coming youngster either, he’s 26, these should be his peak years. He seems to just not like the big stage, for whatever reason. So yeah, him getting to the second week of a major for the first time in his career would be an achievement in itself. Him going on and winning it would be quite the upset, and his odds reflect that.

Connor7
Cameron Norrie takes the first set 6-0. Rain has halted proceedings for the last hour. Players now returning to court. Murray should be on around 5pm depending on how close the games are on before him. Raducanu will get beat

She'll stub her toe in the locker room and not even make it up the corridor.
DoonhamerDon
Djokovic wins last 5 games to take first set 6-3 - should be easy going from there - thought he might be slow after not playing any warm up. He lost the first set of the tournament last year to Draper. Last year's semi-finalist Hurkacz has just gone two sets down to Davidovich Fokina
Connor7
Norrie two holds away from a straight sets victory. Been impressed so far, but his opponent is poor. Good start to the tournament.
peasy23
Can hardly here the players hitting the ball on no1 court due to the sound of the rain battering off the roof.
Connor7
Novak goes through 3-1. Went up the gears when he needed to.
jaggyness
Raducanu on court. Elsewhere Jodie Burrage went out in straight sets earlier so the British women already one down.

Left Back
Why are the players not allowed to sit down at some of the changeovers? Edited June 27, 2022 by Left Back

It’s usually the changeover after the first game in a set that they don’t sit down, usually because they tend to sit down at the end of the previous set, ie 1 game before.

TBF you only really notice it when they don’t skip to other courts at the breaks

Raducanu wins a two setter that was a bit tighter than the score line suggests

jaggyness
I always feel nowadays Andy needs to win the first set. He's looking fine but chasing matches now I worry for him.
