I passed the shop the other day and it was queued out the door. Not seen one up close but have found the posher Swatches look better in pics than up close. I’d only get it caked in paint anyway.

Spattered with emulsion from a shower room ceiling I did as a wee extra for someone.........now it's the "dirty jobs" watch.

Silvio Tattiescone
I like the Oris - they always seem to have that extra "pop" that makes them stand out.

Ignoring the obvious Rolex and Omega choice I have to say the smiley face Tudor with the rose logo is a fantastic watch. It’s just going to go up and up in value Biggie as you probably know. Great collection by the way. A strict one out one in from now on?* * I don’t believe you if you say yes
aDONisSheep
For me the Tudor is a thing of beauty. If it wasn't for my penchant for bigger watches... Also, there is something just right with the Casioak. I just think they look ace and are great value for money. Great looking collection.

Not keen on the faux rivets on the bracelet though, would get it on the leather or fabric.
jamamafegan
I’ve just been browsing watches in the off duty at Edinburgh Airport. I currently wear an Apple watch but after looking at “proper” watches I am now thinking I wouldn’t mind one of them. I like the look of Tissot. Can’t buy your groceries with them right enough but they look cooler.

aDONisSheep
Inspired by Newbornbairn's cheap pilot, I've dusted off one of my cheap pilots watches for today; I tend to only wear this one with a suit, because it has a 'relatively' unfussy face (well for my taste anyway), so that makes it a dress watch... for pilots (obviously, which I'm not). It's the only hand-winder I own, 44mm with a glass back case and butterfly clasp. Yours for £20 if I recall including postage from China. You've got to admire what chinese children can produce and I'm sure only a few of them died in its manufacture. I also have another fully mechaical pilot, which I'll save for another day.
saint dave
Forgot to add this when I got it , quartz version of the Bulova Hack. Strap is same kind of NATO type that's on the lunar pilot but in really soft leather , really comfortable.

aDONisSheep
This thread has got me wearing more of my watches on rotation. For some reason today's watch is the one that has had several complete strangers compliment me on, and ask about where I got it from. I think it's a combination of the 70's style bracelet and the tag heur Monaco rip-off face that does it. Also this is now officially my smallest watch at 41mm x 41mm but looks bigger because it's square and the strap is chunky. I bought it in the famous Wade Smiths in Liverpool in about 2003 (now closed). I think it was the last one they had in a sale, so I picked it up for about £100 (which would have been a lot of money for me at the time, but I had seen it for £200+ there previously. Any way, here it is;
