He had massive health problems from quite a young age. I'm sure he needed a kidney or liver transplant about 10 years ago.

An absolute machine in his prime. I mind him just running over the top of players trying to tackle him.

He had a kidney transplant in 2004 witch failed/was rejected by his body in 2011

I seem to remember someone saying he could run the 100m in eleven seconds.

Imagine him hitting you at 30 miles an hour!!

Mike Catt knows all about that probably still a dent in a pitch in South Africa from when he got run over.

Mentioned in the rugby thread he was a 20 stone man who run the 100m in under 11 seconds, bench press 200kg and squat close on 400kg absolute machine.

Aye was his pace as much as his size that did the damage...most guys lumber up to full speed but he was pretty much full pelt after five yards....40 is no age at all
