Ira Gaines
I'm bowing out of the whole thing. You mind letting me know how I do if I send answers Albino?
Albino Rover
Round 13 Answers 1. Cavalleria Rusticana 2. Steak 3. Sugar Ray Robinson 4. Jake LaMotta’s 5. “I’m the boss.” 6. 60lbs 7. Cathy Moriarty 8. Frank Vincent 9. Father 10. Ordinary People Leaderboard I had considered that it might be a bit dodgy doing a round about one single film, and I take the lowest turnout of the quiz as confirmation of that worry. Let’s just say that’s the last time I’ll be trying it.
Albino Rover
I'm bowing out of the whole thing. You mind letting me know how I do if I send answers Albino? I'll carry on updating your score on the leaderboard as usual if you like, albeit less frequently. As it stands you're a few rounds away from a place in the top 15. ETA: Now would be a good time to announce that we have reached the halfway point; this will be the first film quiz to run for a full marathon. Albino Rover
Round 14: Hanging By A Thread They can get rave reviews from all the critics and sweep up at awards season, but no film’s reputation is safe from the bottom half of the internet. The IMDb messageboard is a goldmine for a laugh- and a guaranteed go-to place for queries, observations, plot spoilers and scathing, seething reviews of any film, no matter how great. I thoroughly recommend it. As the Hollywood celebration of the films of 2015 comes to an end this weekend, I invite you to identify ten of last year’s films from the titles of threads on their IMDb messageboard pages. A point for each one you can name: 1. people love this film because they hate religion...nothing more. / This film is porn for Social Justice Warriors / Most boring film I've ever seen. 2. Give her some medicine! / More for adults than kids? / Did anyone get a gay vibe from this movie? 3. Why did Richard have the photos, / Brief Encounter / Best Picture Snub 4. Feminazi Wet Dream / Burning question regarding buckets! / Did she create the scissors too? 5. I bought a house in 2006 / This is why you'll vote for Bernie Sanders in the primaries. / Cinematography sucked. 6. Why was the wife being such a martyr? / Great movie about mental illness. / No Trans Actors? 7. Getting soaked in the freezing water / Why the eat row meat where there is fire? / Why not just wink?? 8. Todd from Breaking Bad sure gets around / He got that cold really quickly! / Propaganda destroys the movie 9. The two hour long argument / Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah / Ashton Kutcher must hate how good this film is. 10. Means Of Escape / Is Jack a girl? / Allegory of the Cave Send your answers in a new PM to me by midnight on Friday. Good luck
Ira Gaines
Really like this round. Seems tough to me outside of three of them, but I like ones where I can throw out guesses.

Ira Gaines
Shit. I actually think I've got nine of them. One of them is absolutely never getting got. I might need to go and ruin that one for myself and give up. I think I can give this a real go though. EDIT: Pretty sure I've got 8 right at the very least. One of the guesses could be one of two movies though. Absolutely raging at the one that I didn't get close to.
Ann Dan Otherthing
Confident on 9 - helps that I've averaged nearly 6 films per month over the last 12 months, although a couple I still haven't seen yet were fairly easy educated guesses! One has me stumped and must be a movie I haven't seen grr!
Albino Rover
Remember to get them in before midnight tomorrow.

Richie95
A rather meh round for me, some of the questions were rather easy. However, there was about three movies I completely guessed.

Albino Rover
Round 15: Firsts And Lasts... In this round the questions are fairly normal but the scoring is a bit different. I’m looking for 5 movie firsts and lasts (or "most recents"), but if you don't know some of the answers you'll be able to have a compromised guess, in exchange for a lower score. You'll receive 1 point for a correct answer, 0.9 if your answer was the second (last)... ... 0.1 if 10th (last) and 0 if you’re more than ten out or incorrect. One of the "lasts" changed after I made this round a few weeks ago, so I have added an extra condition. Questions 1. What was the first film in which Audrey Hepburn made a credited acting appearance? 2. Last film in which Audrey Hepburn made a credited acting appearance? 3. What was the first film to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song? 4. Last non-Bond film to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song? 5. What was the first film both starring and directed by Clint Eastwood? 6. Last film both starring and directed by Clint Eastwood? 7. What was the first film directed by John Ford film and featuring John Wayne? 8. Last film directed by John Ford starring John Wayne? 9. Who was the first American to win the Best Director Oscar? 10. Last American to win the Best Director Oscar? PM your answers to me by midnight on Friday. Good luck
