P45
PSG have a 24 point lead on 2nd place with 13 games to go. What a shite league.

mizfit
I thought the French league was past the one team dominance after Lyon completely went to shit.

Kris.
It's a pretty competitive league outside of PSG. Just 15 points between 2nd and 15th is testament to that. In the Premier League it's 20 points, in the Bundesliga it's 24 points, and La Liga & Serie A are both 28 points. They'll walk the league, but so what? There's more to a league than just what's going on right at the top. They're essentially doing a Man City, but unlike in the Premier League, the other clubs don't have enough money to really compete with them. Man City can spend £30m+ on a player, but so can Chelsea/Arsenal/Tottenham/Liverpool/Everton/Man United. Monaco are the closest to PSG in terms of finances, but after huge splurges on the likes of Rodriguez, Moutinho & Falcao, they've calmed right down as they're not really that big a club to attract the very best players. This is really the first season since the takeover that the gulf in finances between PSG & the other clubs have been reflected in the league table. It'll be interesting to see whether the owners keep throwing money at them if they keep performing so averagely in Europe.
accies1874
The only time I've really taken notice of Ligue 1 was when Montpellier won the league the season that followed the summer of PSG's massive spend. Sadly that hasn't been replicated and, after a quick search, I see Montpellier now lie just above the relegation spots.

Ross.
Fair play to PSG. Even by "Sugar daddy bought a shit load of top players" standards they are having an exceptional league season so far.

JamieStevenson
SCENES as Serge Aurier goes live on Periscope with his pal probably high on f**k knows what, and starts taking shots at everyone from PSG. The big highlight seems to be him calling the boss a homosexual.

Meatwad
Dijon are on the brink of promotion to Ligue 1 for the first time since 2011-12 after beating Paris [New club of Bilel Mohsni] 3-0 tonight. Paris are a remarkable club because of their absolutely ridiculous league record this season, before tonight they'd won their last 2 after only winning once since August - but to offset this they've drawn 17 times in the league and lost 14. Three sides have lost more games than them - Two of them directly above them in the bottom three with the other being Bourg-Peronnas in 11th. Ligue 1 and 2 change from 3 automatic relegation places to just two from next season.
RandomGuy.
PSG make an official approach to Mourinho to take over. I'm not a great fan of his, and feel like he'd stunt PSG more than anything

lanky_ffc
Huge win for Monaco last night away to a depleted Lyon puts them back top on goal difference and with a game in hand (a very winninable one at home to St Etienne).
