I'm glad the Greens exerted some pressure but felt more could have been done to raise money for public services. Aberdeen Council saying they need to cut £24million despite a rise in the Council Tax. This is going to be replicated across Scotland. Disappointment should be reserved for the greens for selling out.

Is it going to change they way anybody votes? Unlikely. The only folk who'll get frothing at the mouth about it are Rangers fans who never have and never will vote for the SNP or independence. Sorry but the 'ALL Rangers fans are unionists' argument is just bollocks. Post Referendum polls confirmed that. As for Mason, there's lots of reasons that he shouldn't hold elected office.

Dunning1874
It's incredible that the SNP haven't got rid of Mason long before now, you'd think they'd have done everything in their power to not only deselect him as a constituency MSP but also keep him off the list. Even ignoring these latest comments, he's consistently been an embarrassment every time he's opened his mouth and allowed something approaching a thought to tumble out from his creationist, homophobic brain. He's a genuine cretin.

Based on the result of the Referendum it could be argued that "MOST people who voted are fervent, swivel eyed, dribbling Unionists." I'm sure a poll showed the split for sevco fans was 60/40 - more than the general voting public but not hugely so.
NotThePars
Mason is an absolute cretin but I don't think he does that much damage to the SNP mainly just because most people don't give a shite.

Although I do know 3 sevconians IRL who voted Yes, if Twitter and hun forums are anything to go by, the overwhelming majority are stark, raving British Nationalists

There was a poll that suggested a Yes majority amongst Rangers supporters. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/old-firm-united-both-celtic-3598872 The poll by Panelbase looked at voting intentions among the support of Scotland’s top clubs for the first time. Although the results are not scientific, the snapshot suggests that 48 per cent of Celtic fans will vote Yes, compared with 40 per cent planning to vote No. The rest are apparently undecided. Among Rangers fans, support for independence was placed at 45 per cent – with 41 per cent likely to vote No. Suspect the numbers would be heavily skewed towards No amongst Ibrox regulars as opposed to armchair followers.

Not very scientific, but evidence from P&B polls show a far high support for independence than average. That's probably got something to do with the site having a much younger demographic than the country as a whole but I suspect there's an overlap between 'football supporters' and Yes voting - not necessarily a direct connection but a correlation in the demographics likely to be both of those things.
