Having had a proper look at Brit First Spain, it may be fair to suggest it's a parody.
Hard to tell though.

It may very well be a parody, but we all know there will be expats over there sharing Britain first memes as we speak.

Why you disappoint me crubag?

Thing is, it's just so hard to tell these days. Especially with right-wingers...

A UKIP candidate has described how her "hormones go crazy" for gorillas at the zoo, which she finds "very attractive".

Gisela Allen, who is bidding for a seat on Glasgow City Council, made the comment in a bizarre explanation of why gay people should not "come out".

Ms Allen gave the interview to the Sunday Herald after a range of her views, including her wish to bring back execution by guillotine, went viral.

Let's call them for what they are, immigrants. Immigrants who use the Spanish health service.

Usual excellent column from Batman

http://derekbateman.scot/

This is good…

The Tories are relying on the disaffected from other parties to back them for one last tilt at resistance before the inevitable. People are frightened of what is coming – self-government. We should never underestimate how profound is the contempt of our fellow Scots for what we like to call our nation. The idea that it might be self-governing with no outside help from emotional props they rest on – reassuring Radio 4, Big Ben, public school sang froid and good manners – has them palpitating. They will vote for the BNP if it will halt the Scot Nats. And even where the Tories don’t lie second, you have to give Ruthie credit for claiming the mantle of No Surrender Unionist-in-Chief. She has claimed the copyright on the Union in spite of performing screeching handbrake turns on everything else.

…and so is this

The key point to recall is that with either no MP at all (1997) or a single MP since, the Tories have only had the moral ability to control Scotland utilising the support of Labour Unionists. If Labour had truly put socialist ideals before party advantage – and their innate hatred of Nationalists – they would have opposed the Tories rigorously and threatened to opt for separation if their demands weren’t met. Instead they became the facilitators of Tory excess in Scotland with the apotheosis coming in the greatest single miscalculation in the history of Labour – the 2014 Better Together campaign. They held Scotland back and were appalled at what the people made of their Holyrood parliament (backing real powers and rejecting the pastiche of Scottish democracy Labour intended).

Regarding Tim Farron getting harangued over his beliefs regarding gays being sinners. Why isn't Theresa May being asked the same? She believes in all that shite doesn't she?

Pretty much

She has a much more dubious voting record on gay rights than Farron as well.

I imagine it's because people expect the Tories to be c***s whereas the Lib Dems are trying to present themselves as a progressive alternative to Labour.

Yeah this pretty much. The Lib Dems are trying to attract themselves to people on the right of the Labour Party who are looking for a progressive voice that they don't think Labour are any more. This is being highlighted to remind people why the Lib Dems are still twats and aren't nearly as 'progressive' as they claim to be.

Tbf Farron is just better at hiding his homophobia (click on the date in the tweet)

And I think part of the reason why this is dragging on is because Lib Dems keep insisting that his own private views don't affect his politics when in fact they clearly do. Say what you want about Nick Clegg, and I have, but he doesn't have the same view on gay people that Alex Jones does.

Also Farron resigned from the Lib Dem front bench in 2008 because they were against holding an EU referendum. He's a risible, opportunistic tosser.

Farron trying to clarify this matter and put it to bed was getting into a right fankle.

I've always quite liked him. On qt he always came across as a balanced and reasoned guy. He gets a lot of stick for his religious views and maybe rightly so, but there are far worse politicians out there and I reckon he'll get a good bounce for the Lib dems this election.

I'll whisper it but I quite like Clegg.

If he hadn't jumped into bed with the Tories the minute they dropped their knickers I think he could have advanced the Liberals by some distance.  Especially now that the Labour Party have crumbled.

A missed opportunity, all be it one that might've been difficult to foresee.

It's only once we saw quite how horrible, nasty and stupid the tories would get once free from coalition that we realised that Clegg had actually made a difference
