Of course you wouldnt look at applicants because it wouldnt support your argument.

And you won't look at actual qualified doctors because it won't support yours. Touché.

If there is a skills shortage in specific areas I would recruit from abroad. Just like every other skills shortage in every other industry. Was that a trick question?
The idea that specialist doctors are under paid is just hilarious.

I like how you say we're overpaid and then say your solution is to pay us more. Sadly, as ever, you have no clue about the structure of medical training and the major issues that the health service is currently facing.

Boris Johnson to come out in support of the removal of a public sector pay cap, just days after voting against it. Almost as if he's trying to undermine the PM....

Hunt and Greening believed to be in support too.

Edinburgh student in a bit of bother for wearing a Hezbollah t-shirt. Saw this being retweeted on Twitter, she seems like a bit of a nutter.

When I was at college I was going to run for Union President for Hezbollah on the platform of keeping Terry Waite chained to a Beirut radiator, but I chickened out.

Imagine having Boris on your team. He's such a c**t.

In his defence, at least he knows it. Most of them are unaware they're c***s

Someone, I imagine McSpreader is saying this shows clear Labour bias.
What the f**k?

Shut the internet down please China.
We're done here.

Amusingly for fans of the incestuous nature of UK spin machine..... Not taking sides here, but I think bringing someones missus into anything is usually a bad idea, however.

Thread.

So, Scotland has a faster growing economy, lower levels of unemployment, and a better performing NHS than the UK as a whole.

The unionists will be triggered big time.

Every story on the BBC Scotland news page is like a dagger to the heart of Unionists.

Glorious.

It's good news and a welcome relief that the MSM don't have yet another stick to beat us with, but ultimately the Scottish government has no more claim over this upturn than it would have culpability for a down-turn.  Holyrood simply does not have the economic levers to have that kind of influence.  It is interesting that the article highlights the Dalzell steel plant though - that is one example that the Scottish government can point to where it's policy has made an unquestionable positive impact.

That BBC news page is a sight to behold  :thumsup2
