Brophy and Docherty's link-up can be really nice but, again, that's simmered down. Our defence looks really rocky and too much has broken down in the middle in the last 25 minutes. We were great in the first 20 minutes due to playing good football on the deck but Canning remembered that he's Martin Canning and swapped it for long ball pish. Punting long balls up the park instead of passing along the surface. Once we went ahead it was the usual pish from Canning. Instead of going for a killer second, we try to defend a slim lead and once again pay the price. Brophy actuallly done ok as the loan striker when the ball was played into his feet but far too often the ball was lofted up to him and the Thistle defence moped it up easily. Once Partick equalised you could see there was only going to be one winner with most of the action happening in our half and Cannings subs seemed to make us worse.
