King Kebab
Pretty sure Martins smaller so is just the impression you get Honestly, that's not the impression I get when I see Martin, it's the one he does of a football player that gets me!!
King Kebab
Shots per goal last season Rhodes - 112 shots - 16 goals - 7 SPG Martin - 100 shots - 15 goals - 6.6 SPG Clearly Martin is our "deadliest" striker no? Does those stats include penalties in the goal tally???

King Kebab
Does it matter? Well yes, Rhodes doesn't take penalties whereas Martin does, half a dozen (or however many) one on ones with the keeper and the resultant goal would obviously skew the figures in Fatboys favour!!! Savage Henry
Aye and he has been complete and utter shit for every single second of every single Scotland appearance yet still strolls into squads. His half against England at Parkhead is easily the worst 45 minutes I've ever seen from any footballer at any level ever. I don't think he even touched the ball, a lump of cement would genuinely have been more effective and more mobile. Not one for hyperbole, are you? 54_and_counting
on the subject of stats as well, according to wiki (yeah i know) both have played 353 career games, rhodes has scored 75 more goals (110:185)

kenny131
The fact fans are trying to justify Martins selection ahead of rhodes when we can all see he belongs on a farm lifting hay bales is beyond belief. Those of you defending him obviously never watched any of his appearances and are just hanging on to the coat tails of his club form.

RandomGuy.
Kris Boyd has better than both. Call up Boyd, IMO. Steven Fletcher and Kenny Miller have more English top flight goals than either. Both should be ahead of them.
