oneteaminglasgow
Given that we've got a relatively small fanbase and what I thought was one of the more inclusive atmospheres, that Twitter reaction. "I'm no wearing this on ma holidays"My favourite was the comparison to Celtic releasing a British army themed away kit...
EwanMubs25
Looks like we’re not getting a 1971 reboot after allAlso, seems like the rainbow trim is only part of the away kit
Fuctifano
A 1970/1 throwback in 2019 as opposed to 2020 or 2021 would be silly.
forameus
The ribbed part of the away top makes it look like a cricket gillet.
ShaggysBeard
I think it's fantastic. I prefer to give Thistle the benefit of doubt, it's a strong symbol of inclusiveness. Found the response on twitter staggering.

We had the chairman of the local cricket club doubling up as our chairman for the best part of 20 years. He was a long term hockey player as well.

Just got a bit ahead of myself wishing it to be true.

The only drawback I see is we may alienate the Iranian, Saudi and central African branches of our supporters clubs. You forgot our Brunei branch.
Reid
Big fan of both tbh. Something different.

Nightmare
The away kit in general is really nice, imo. Home is ok. I know it’s a retro style but I think that makes it look a bit Albion Rovers.
Poet of the Macabre
Not surprising to see Cardle getting asked to model the new kit

Big fan of the away kit generally. As above, home is nice but slightly too Albion Rovers. That’s two season running that Joma have managed decent enough kits for us, which is a remarkable feat for them.
Fuctifano
The home kit is far too Albion Rovers for me, don't like it at all. Away kit is fine.

SteelJag
Bit of an anti-climax for the LBGTQ away kit then. Looks tidy but it isn't exactly what we were teased. The home is forgettable and cheap looking.
Slacker
Both alright, prefer the away kit. I'd have probably not bothered with the red under the arm of the home one.
forameus
No fucking Bungle. Raging. Away kit is better than I thought it'd be. The rainbow parts are nice and understated, as they should be. Good they're there, but would've been a bit much as a big feature. Still though, they're both pretty fucking beige. Home top especially, seems like training wear with badges on. Still, doesn't really matter. Parents usually toss one of the tops my way at Christmas after spending ridiculous amounts on my wee boy, so it'll be good enough for 7s. 5 minutes ago, SteelJag said: Bit of an anti-climax for the LBGTQ away kit then. Gets a lot of attention based off a very zoomed in pic, and gets everyone waiting for the actual reveal. Especially given the away kit is pretty ordinary after all.
Armand 2
Hopefully we can play in the away top all season since a) it's a cracker and b) it'll noise up the half-wits. Home top is a stinker. ManBearPig
I like the away top, home one is pretty dreadful though.
