Motherwell FC - A Thread For All Seasons

Over the 50-odd minutes he was on the pitch, I think my opinion of Tierney swung back and forwards between I really like the stuff he’s trying, once he’s up to speed he could be a real asset for us and this wee guy keeps running the ball out of play, maybe he’s just shite, eventually settling on I fucking love Ross Tierney, he’s absolutely class.

33 minutes ago, well fan for life said:

Just to go back a couple of pages I got Wordle on my first attempt today.

Highlight of the week imo.

First ever failure for me, I had letters 2-5 but there is more than one word that fits the bill and I ran out of attempts.

And on my birthday.

I think one thing about Alexander's style of play being so... results focused, is that how it's perceived really depends on the result. For me we were better than St Mirren last night- not by much, but better. If we score one of the decent chances we had at 0-0 and go on to hold on for a win then it's a professional away performance. If Gogic scores and we don't pull one back with seconds left it's another grim loss. As it is we got a point and nobody really knows how to feel.

I think we're in for a tough few weeks ahead most likely, we'll pick up points unexpectedly somewhere (okay not that unexpectedly, it'll be against Aberdeen) but still slip down the table a few places. We'll win a few games in March and be 5th, 6th or 7th by the time of the split.

Generally agree but it's a double header against Aberdeen and we've got a bit of history of beating them in the cup then losing in the league. We need to start carrying more threat if we're going to beat anyone though.
