YassinMoutaouakil
Imagine how powerful Alexander would be armed with an actual plastic pitch though. We'd probably get football shut down by about October.
Neil86
would that make fir park a no go for any league cup/European fixtures? My understanding was 5 weeks worth of work before the pitch gets seeded and sewn.

Phillips455
So the pitch and the pitch under the pitch will be removed? Finally. Will still be weird to see in real life.

capt_oats
I'd imagine a chunk of the £3m we got from the Scottish Government will be paying for this tbf. Edited May 10, 2022 by capt_oats
Allroy for Prez
Good to see the club completely ignoring Watt the snakes goals on the goal of the season shortlist. Even although his goal v Utd was arguably the goal of the season!

Tierney's has the added bonus that Tait was made to look like a grade A tool in the build up. I have a funny feeling one of Slattery's will be on the podium.

[emoji23] Yeah, I would have probably given it to his goal against United but I suppose they can't give an award to a player who's at another club.Probably Slattery's against County for me but there's not much between about 4 or 5 of them.
Gianfranco
Roberts’ goal in Dingwall would have won if we hadn’t shat the bed in that game.
ropy
Harder than you would think. Did Roberts mean his? Shields run was excellent. Slattery’s pings. But Van Veen’s against Aberdeen brought great joy,
rowsdower
Roberts against county was a beauty, I'd put that and the Cornelius one above Watt's.Shame that Efford's volley tomorrow can't be included.
well fan for life
SOD in the team of the week. 🫡 Really class that it's taken until May for Alexander to work out if you play him on the right of a back 5 he's a player.

Kapowzer
Quickly does sums .... 36 league games, 4 league cup, 3 Scottish cup = 43 games x 90 mins = 3,870 + 30 (1 extra time) = 3,900 minutes of football played. That video is 4.5 minutes long. I've officially liked 0.12% of this season, if you add in Aberdeen in the cup, Lamie's header and Tony rubbing Browns head we're up to 0.15% Edited May 10, 2022 by Kapowzer
welldaft
For me Slattery v Livingston. Was a belter of a strike and so accurate. Plus it helped get us back on track for top 6. I am a bit torn on the hybrid pitch. Probably because I don’t have the financial breakdown v benefits. Flow seems excited and explains it will help limit ongoing annual investment. But I seem to recall it was going to cost the best part of £850,000. For a club like Motherwell that is serious money. Even half of that invested in the squad for next season may have a big impact. I certainly would not want to read about us paying another six figures every summer after such a whopping outlay.
