Leaving out Taylor, Robinson, Straker, Fletcher, Thomas, Clarkson and Gomis. Grimshaw was decent also - but the good:dreck ratio was near Kampmann levels...

He was their top scorer with 15 goals, and the fans were devastated when he left for us. We too were devastated, although it was when he actually played for us, because he was absolutely dreadful. Very much out of his depth. Although Bowman seems to have played at a higher level, so hopefully he'll turn out all right for you.
Desp
The highest fee received is up for debate. Although we received £1.75m for O'Donnell and £1.25 for McFadden (our two highest fees), we did receive a further half a million or so in Faddy's sell-on clause when he moved from Everton to Birmingham. After that it's Lee McCulloch at £900,000 to Wigan (McMillan was a further £550,000), and David Clarkson for a reported £800,000 to Bristol City. McDonald to Celtic was £700,000 IIRC, which would put the reported Johnson figure of £650,000 into No.6 on the list. With the potential to move up the last if any add-ons/sell-on clause kicks in.
Swello
Here is some footage of Belic, when he is younger - difficult to tell much from it though other than judging by some of the shitey grounds he's played at in Serbia, he won't be intimidated by the Curva Sainsburys at New Douglas Park.

Swello
Given that most of those clips looked like Junior Cup ties played on muck and nettles, I'd say so

one m in Motherwell
It'll be interesting to see how we line up following the conclusion of our summer dealings. Could our strongest XI now be looking like: GK: The Undroppable One DL: Hammell DC: McManus DC: Heneghan DR: Tait MC: McHugh MC: Clay MC: Cadden ST: Moult ST: McDonald ST: One of either Ainsworth/Bowman/Blyth/Belic
capt_oats
Looking at the clip of Belic Swello posted above and another couple on YouTube I think he actually looks a pretty natural fit for playing on either left/right of a fluid front 3, probably more so than Johnson and certainly more so than Ainsworth who I'd argue is and always has been an out and out winger. Going back to McGhee's first spell in charge you could possibly draw parallels between the role Belic seems to play and the sort of thing McCormack was doing back then. I'm basing that entirely off of a couple of 5 minute videos shot on a camcorder in Serbia when he was 16 though so it's probably well off the mark. Being totally honest I can see Blyth being 'unused sub' until January then getting papped out. Bowman would seem to be a more obvious option to take the pressure off Moult.
Desp
People who type out a team line-up and go from left-back to right-back make me uncomfortable.
