LargsTON
Did anyone have any issues ordering the PPV? None at all. Dunno if it was down to the provider? I'm with Sky.
MarkoRaj
Which doesn't mean that he ain't a glorified car park scrapper. Parker and Fury are both fringe world level and this is a perfect stepping stone/learning fight for whoever wins.

Dont really follow it now so I don't really know any of the modern day fighters. First time I have seen Eubanks jr. He would not have lasted 30 seconds in the ring against his dad back in the day Just out of curiosity, did you pay to watch the broadcast?

MONKMAN
It's a purse bid, anything can happen. They've got a weeks extension, Hearn saying he's confident a deal will be made without going to a purse bid.
Boostin' Kev
Hadn't seen that until now, cheers.Thought it was going to a purse bid tomorrow. Looks like Hearn has managed to buy a bit more time to try to avoid this fight.

Boostin' Kev
Brook/Hearn have been a disgrace since the Golovkin fight. He was one of my favourite fighters after the Porter win and now I just want to see him get iced.
The Chlamydia Kid
They were a disgrace long before that. He's fought nobody aside from porter! I don't class GGG as a decent opponent as he was a sacrfical lamb in for a pay day.
Marshmallo
I don't class GGG as a decent opponent This is why I don't really post in this thread any more. -

I think I know what you mean...GGG was never a decently MATCHED opponent, he was always gonna grind Brook down then stop him at will. Brook didn't have the power to hurt him, hence GGG just walking onto punches to get to Brook quite happily.Rumblings afoot of Eubank Jr fighting Danny Jacobs or Saunders next... Jacobs of course has the small matter of Golovkin to deal with first.Saunders is probably scouting suitable municipal baths/phoneboxes to hold his next bout in.
The Chlamydia Kid
This is why I don't really post in this thread any more. Aye you're a boxing oracle too knowledgable and insightful for me [emoji849]He is obviously one of the best around but he is a ridiculous choice of opponent for a welter weight.
Boostin' Kev
The Golovkin - Brook match up was a really shameless attempt at fleecing the UK casual market for many (and more) of the reasons we've already discussed on here. It worked very well however, there's no denying Hearn's ability as a businessman.
Boostin' Kev
He can't be chasing Jack surely?
Boostin' Kev
Got to hand it to Degale. He'll be my favourite UK fighter by a long way if he's doing that and I'm not even a big fan of his actual punching. Loosening ties with Hearn has been the best thing to happen to him. Disco30
Fair play to degale if he has vacated to fight jack he seemed pretty adamant he wanted a rematch. Hopefully he gets what he wants.
Boostin' Kev
He could spend quite a long time at 168 milking that belt the way the division's looking just now if he wanted to and there's a couple of fairly low risk/high reward fights like Calum Smith and Eubank Jr there that will generate decent cash for him.
DigOutYourSoul
Wonder how long before eubank claims defale 'ran' from him.
NorthernJambo
Would have liked to see DeGale v Callum Smith but fair play if he's decided to move up to fight Jack. Can't see him being a champ at light heavy but best of luck to him!
