The mad competitive West Super Division One thread 2016-2017

We are playing some great football to watch, creating a lot of chances, but unfortunately we're missing a lot of them, and we seem to get punished for every mistake we make defensively. Since the Renfrew game which we won on the opening day, we haven't been two goals up in a match. We have had leads against Irvine Meadow, Petershill and Kilsyth Rangers, but ended up drawing all three games which we should have killed off.

But we'll be ok if we keep playing the way we are playing, except we need to convert more chances. Fraser Team has scored 9 goals in 10 starts, but has hit the woodwork about another 9 times. It'll come good for us, I am sure about that. I have a lot of confidence in the squad we have this season.

Glensmad just noticed our wee mini discussion from Sunday has mysteriously disappeared.  Is that spooky or what? Looks like someone spirited it away in a wee pre Halloween clean up with a broom or two lol was it that controversial?  i just hope it wasn't you with your extraordinary powers that we are unaware of lol

Shotts are only a point behind Glencairn with two games in hand, and also beat Glencairn a few weeks ago.

Glencairn went to Kilsyth last Saturday and led the game for 80 minutes before losing a late equaliser.

It won't be a "gimme" for Kilsyth, that's for sure.

That'll be the hoodoo of not winning at hannah park in shotts for a long time, over 30 years they said today, Shotts 0 Kilsyth Rangers 7, outstanding performance from us today and some great goals, paul mcbride was excellent on his return from suspension with 2 goals

Comfortable 3pts today for the Town.....dominated most parts of the game and had a spell in 2nd half were we should have scored several goals to be well out of sight....

Jordan Morton in his 1st start for the club after injury problems delayed his debut, scored a great 2nd goal with a neat finish low into the corner......
