Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread

Deflated that Leveins said that was a good attacking performance.

Almost 60 minutes of uncontested possession and we created maybe one decent chance that was dragged wide? Everything else is long shots or headers bar the goal?

Midfield is embarrassing compared to Dundees. The have Cameron and McCowan attacking the box and scoring/assisting regularly, while we have Kucheriavyi, Phillips, and Smith, combining to contribute about 4 goals a season and refusing to enter the box.

Kucheriavyi was okay, he's a nothing player but you get away with one. When you've got him, Matt Smith, and Tony Gallacher in the same team, then that's too many passengers.

I've still no idea who he's expecting to chip in with goals apart from the strikers.

When the plan is to just lump it forward and pray that Sidibeh/Kimpioka latch onto it, or the defender makes a mistake not many goals will come, especially when the balls being played aren't especially great.

So very tired of watching Robinson clip a ball down the channel straight out of play.

This is it in a nutshell.

That Sidibeh is clearly an utter donkey that doesn't know what he's doing but he's cracking to watch. All action, power and pace.

Tbf I prefer it that he's not "coached" about where and how to play. We're so predictable everywhere else in attack it's nice to have someone taking risks.

Especially since it’s probably going to be in Dingwall

That will be three away games against them this season. Not sure it makes much difference where we play mind you, issues will be the same.

I think a semi ok performance just papers over the cracks a bit. Decent enough passages of play, but no real direction. You can see some of the players are not committed enough. Too many times we times we get into final 3rd and players are too afraid to have a shot at goal.

Really hope the new owners bring a bit of professionalism to the organisation getting into the ground. Massive ques in East, not for turnstiles but for security bit and slowest pie stalls. Small things, but irk before you even get to seat.
